Last Updated: January 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FaithDraft (“the Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

FaithDraft is owned and operated by Horace Douglas / FaithDraft.

2. Description of Service

FaithDraft provides an AI-powered tool that generates sermon drafts, outlines, and related content based on user inputs such as passage, denomination, tone, and language.

The content generated by the Service is intended to be:

  • A draft
  • A guide
  • A study aid

It is not a substitute for theological study, pastoral counseling, or authoritative teaching. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating all generated content before using or presenting it.

3. Eligibility

To use FaithDraft, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate account and payment information
  • Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to use FaithDraft to generate or distribute:

  • Hate speech or harassment
  • Illegal, violent, or harmful content
  • Content intended to deceive or mislead
  • Doctrinal claims you are unwilling to review or affirm

You are responsible for ensuring all generated content aligns with your beliefs, your community’s standards, and applicable laws.

5. Payments & Refunds

FaithDraft may offer pay-per-sermon purchases, future bundles, and optional free demos. All payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).

FaithDraft does not store or process your full payment card information on our servers. Refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis, for example in cases of accidental duplicate purchases, payment issues, or technical errors.

To request a refund or raise an issue, contact: faithdrafthelp@gmail.com.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any sermon drafts created using the Service. You may preach, edit, modify, reproduce, and share any content generated for you.

FaithDraft retains all rights to the Service itself, including the website, branding, design, and proprietary instructions or prompts used to generate content.

7. No Guarantee of Theological Accuracy

FaithDraft aims to produce doctrinally consistent content based on your selected tradition, but:

  • AI-generated content may be incomplete or incorrect
  • It may misunderstand theological nuance
  • It should always be reviewed before preaching or publishing

You agree to use all generated content responsibly and in line with your local church, denomination, and conscience.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaithDraft is not liable for:

  • Errors or omissions in generated content
  • Theological inaccuracies or misunderstandings
  • Damages resulting from use or misuse of the Service
  • Loss of data or interruptions to the Service
  • Third-party provider issues (Stripe, Netlify, Make, AI providers, etc.)

Your use of the Service is at your own risk. FaithDraft is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

9. Modifications to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also update pricing, features, or technical implementation as needed.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
